The Joint Project

The Joint Project " Youth in Action"

AMTV along with its partners creates and develops a European Student Television Network which aims at designing a web-based platform for the exchange of media contents created by and for young people. Leading organization of the Project is the National Student Television “Alma Mater” of the Sofia University “St Kliment Ohridski“. Project partners are: The High School of Journalism in Paris, the High School of Journalism in Lill (France) and the “Mass Media Communications” Department of the New Bulgarian University. Thirty young people will directly participate in the realization of the Project and when ready the web-based television network will be accessible for use to thousands of young people in Europe and around the world. The programmes will be a direct coverage of concrete examples of the (non)participation of young people in the democratic life of their societies. The joint teams will take in-depth nationwide interviews from representatives of different youth communities and subcultures on their participation in the political and social life, as well as on the mechanisms that could make this happen.

The new “Ku-Ku” Reloaded

The social subject-matter shall be revealed in a satiric style (sketches, amusing commercials, inquiries) as well as in a serious exposing manner (reports and journalistic investigations). The topics shall be connected to all areas concerning society – politics, healthcare, environment, life standard, poverty and wealth, education and culture, corruption at all levels in the social and political hierarchy, emigration problems, natality, stimuli towards the young or their absence.

Atelier – student’s workshop for art and culture

Аtelier is a student’s programme for art, media and culture and it is a product of the National University Television “Alma Mater”. Every issue of Atelier presents several different artists and places, where art happens – students, studying musical, visual, theatrical or unconventional art, media, philosophy, education with achievements in different areas; young artists, close to the studentship or such which are of interest to the audience of the programme; ateliers, free areas for art; exhibitions, festivals and events from the world of art in Bulgaria.
